Benefits of Participation

The Leaders in Environmental Action for the Future (LEAF) Initiative will help WPI students (LEAF Fellows) grow into confident, environmentally literate leaders using a personalized, experiential, and action-oriented approach.​​​

​​​

The LEAF Initiative will empower students, foster their environmental identity and provide them with tools and platforms to showcase their environmental literacy and leadership. 

​​​

In addition to the seminar components, you will:​

  • Earn an Environmental Leadership certificate from WPI's Office of Sustainability.

  • Gain access to experts and professional mentors

  • Have opportunities:

    • To share your work via publication and/or conference presentation.

    • Earn expert virtual badges from the National Wildlife Federation.

  • Gain access to a networking and Eco Career Summit tailored specifically for LEAF Fellows by the National Wildlife Federation.
